Reminder...

Daily, this is on my mind.

1 Corinthians 16:14
"Let all that you do be done in love."

I am excited to be heading to Atlanta to celebrate my granddaughter's first birthday.
How wonderful life can be...

Have a wonderful weekend and soak in the last days of Summer.

Positive!

I love the verse, Luke 6: 37.

We as "social humans" tend to be more judgmental with the all of the technology and minute to minute updates on one another's lives.  I remember when I had a pen pal that it would take a week to get the letters she wrote me.  So, the average in a month was about 4 to five letters.  This was because we were having a conversation back and forth.  We both wrote one another well into our 20's.

My heart sometimes hurts with what I see posted
in mainstream media and social venues in the world of technology and "keeping in touch."
With that said,  it is still hard not to read it.  I just choose not to share my opinion.
 In an open forum.
It is like a "train wreck/car wreck," you just cannot look away.

I must remind myself daily to continue to carry my daily cross and seek God.

Inspiration Monday? Yep, I know so...

Yesterday, while watching the Little League World Series and cheering on my team, BG EAST, also known to others as KENTUCKY or Bowling Green East, I was inspired to go ahead and create with inspiration from Shanna Noel.  She is the creator of Illustrated Faith.  She challenged women of faith that in fact, Bible Journal to print out her little butterfly tag and share.

So, with the above run on sentence; I give you my interpretation.

John 8: v, 36

The "FLY" tag is the creation of Shanna Noel.  "Below."

With this said, Go Bowling Green East!  So proud of these "Boys of Summer!"
Brings me back to the days when I would go to the games of my own children.
I will always remember the affair I had with Summer and Baseball.
Gosh, so much fun!

New Creation

One of my most favorite verses is 2 Corinthians Chapter 5 v. 17.

I Am Wonderfully Made!

This is an inspiring and  uplifting verse.
I loved using stamps and pen to illustrate on this page.

Psalm 139, v.14

I also loved the Studio Calico Stamp that I had to simply use.

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
~Eleanor Roosevelt

Looking forward to watching Bowling Green East Little League
in the Little League World Series today.

GO KENTUCKY!

Loyalty! Where you go, I will go...

I love the Book of Ruth.  It is relatively short but it has an extreme message.
I chose to highlight one of my favorite verses.

Ruth 1 16-17

I am really enjoying Illustrating my Faith.

I hope you have a great weekend.

Illustrating my Faith!

I received in the mail yesterday my new Bible.  Not just any Bible, but a special Bible that has space to create and be in the word of Christ.  It is called ESV Single Column Journaling Bible.
I was inspired by Shanna Noel and her Illustrated Faith Website.
I was nervous at first, I mean really, feels weird to create art in a Bible.
However, I am finding that I really am inspired by many in the creative communities of mixed media artists and they love sharing their faith.  I have my TAWG (time alone with God) and then I pray and allow God to empower my heart and allow a message for me to create within His Word.

So, I hope to share my creations as I do them and feel comfortable enough to share my heart.

Here is my very first Bible Journaling.

Philippians 4:6-7
This verse is great for anxiety.
Give it all to God, everything in prayer.

I am excited in this creative journey within my walk with the Lord.

Getting it DONE!

Determined to scrapbook the photos I had printed for scrapping.
Yep, I am getting it done.

The light shadows are changing.  We have (in the previous days) crisper mornings.
I am feeling a change.
But...I refuse to give up on SUMMER!
Brian and I plan on going to the waterpark tomorrow.

Tonight, ATLANTA FALCONS pre-season game.
We will be tailgating at home and we are just so shocked it is going to be televised in out area.  Usually, the Titans trump the stations.

Hard to believe that today is the Fourth Day of School.
Brianna is adjusting to the earlier time of getting up and leaving the house at 6:45 AM.
I also believe, she is really enjoying 7th Grade.

Have a great weekend!

Back to Reality!

Yes, this Summer has been a great Summer.  In a flash... here is what happened.

1.  Brian turned 50!
2.  Brianna went to Camp Loucon
3.  Brianna participated in her first Mission Trip to Indiana.
4.  We had the Annual Archer Family Reunion in Pennsylvania.
5.  Family Vacation in Panama City Beach.
6.  Went to Hershey Park and had a BLAST!
7.  Kimberly (me) turned 50 as well.

During the entire Summer we spent days and weekends at Beech Bend playing in the water.

Yesterday, August 11th, Brianna began Middle School.  Yep, she is the last in our nest.
This will be a great school year.

I already mourn Summer leaving.
In the meantime, I leave you with a few layouts I have recently completed

Looking forward to the "BOYS OF FALL!"
GO DAWGS and GO TOPS!
