Sunny Today, Finally!

May 7th and there is still a nip in the air.  I have yet to put away sweaters as we are still wearing them when the weather is not so warm.  Wow, this time last year we were already wearing shorts on a daily basis.

It has been so gloomy and rainy.

In one month, WE WILL  BE ON THE BEACH!

But, I still manage to get my scrap on.

Here are a few layouts that I have recently completed.

12 Hour Scrapping...

Well, not the entire 12 hours.  But I was up for 27.08 hours, though.

We talked, snacked, listened to music, shared photos, and would every once in awhile say, "how many pages do you have done?"  We were blessed in that the youth of our church were having a lock in.  So, we got to listen to laughter, giggles, rushes of clapping, and and occasional, "DRIVE BY!"  By that meaning, running through our area.  I had a great time.  I was one of the ones that did not go take a nap in the sanctuary and then have to be shaken to say, "time to go home."  

I managed 8 layouts.

Four 12" x 12" and four 6" x 12".

Of course, there must have been at least 5 or six Cricut machines.

I brought my Silhouette Cameo.

Big time was had by all.

Happy Birthday America!

I am proud to be an American. I am proud of the freedoms we have within our society. I am proud and honored to continue to have these freedoms that have been fought for throughout history. One of our favorite traditions is going to the parade. This is a layout I created with my son Kaleb when we went to the parade with my grandmother back in 1995.
It's always fun to capture traditions and create with favorite photos.
I also like to create "traditional" holiday photos out of the "regularly" themed paper.
I hope you like this "take" on one of our ways we celebrate the 4th of July each and every year.
