Creative Below Zero!

Our weather here in Bowling Green is beyond cold.  We are having below zero temperatures and the windchill is just down right scary!  Brianna has not gone back to school since Christmas break began.  I am thinking tomorrow looks promising as we are supposed to be in the 20's.  So, she and I have been playing in my studio and she is being creative with lettering and doodling.

I am just creating some layouts that are self explanatory and well...allow for a "keepsake" of sort.
When you look below, you will see what I mean.

I am now creating in the 8.5" x 11" format to include with some of my 3 D-Ring Binders.
I already create with the 6" x 12" size and it is truly a favorite of mine.
However, I am digging the "letter format" as well.

So with out further ado,

In this year, I plan on blogging more and getting back in touch with creative friends and am really excited for a year with creative fun and enjoying life.

I will of course, be recording every step of the way!

Happy 2014 to ya!

Art Freckles~Layout Reveal for May

Well, I sure hope everyone enjoyed National Scrapbooking Day. I did not get much done as I was too busy blog hopping. There was so much to read and learn.
I enjoyed my time on the computer though. With this said, I have already revealed one of my layouts with the Art Freckles May Kit "Fly Away Home." Here are a few more.

Simple Simon? NO WAY!

Oh yeah, over at Bad Girls the competition is continuing this week with "SIMPLE" designs that assert the quintessential lines of balance and asymmetrical and symmetrical design. GOSH, I just did not know it would be so hard to NOT add more to my layout. I just tell ya, the work in the gallery is truly amazing. I kept my design simple in the fact I told my story through smaller photos of the event of the day. I also kept my handwritten journaling to sum up my thoughts simple as well. I am hopeful that this will help guide me through round #4! But all I can say is, WHEW...this was so HARD for me. I am thankful to the class by Miss Sri Sams for bringing me out of my "scrappy box!"

A Perfect Day with YOU!
