Wow, what a weekend!

I had a fabulous weekend. Scrapping all day at Archiver's with my friends. Sue and I enjoy great conversations, sharing photos, and scrapping together. We both shopped and I managed to spend "once again" an obscene amount of money. I just cannot help myself. I just have to have scrappy goodness. Here is one of the layouts that I created on Saturday. I took an old photo that was damaged by time, scanned it and tried to revive some of the color. I really enjoyed using different hues of orange that incorporated peach and melon colors.

I loved using this oriental playing card with the number of 6 that displayed my age. I simply enjoy clustering and lately I cannot stop! It is so much fun.

We had some snow yesterday and as soon as I upload the pictures I will post a few this week.
I love snow. It makes everything so clean and fresh.
I hope you had a great weekend and now onto the first week of March!
Time is going so fast this year.

Rootie Toot Toot!

Yesterday was a day of fun! I went scrapping with my friends at Archiver's from 9:30 AM until 11:00 PM. Spent an obscene amount of money and created some new layouts. I got home rather late of course and my adrenaline was still in fast mode so I got online and was checking my email to a wonderful surprise of 4 emails of acceptance to 2 different publications to magazines to show off my art. I am just tickled pink. I have not been submitting lately and finally delved into it the past month or so again. I guess you could say I am "tooting." But it is fun to see ones creation in a publication that one can feel between your fingers.
We are heading out for breakfast this morning to celebrate! We are anticipating snow later today. We shall see if that comes to pass.
Have a blessed Sunday.

Crop and Shop!

There is nothing better than a fully packed day of scrapping! I have mounds of pictures and lots of ideas floating in my head. Archiver's is great and the shopping is even better. So, off I go to the land of scrap and enjoy the chatter and laughter of paper cutting divas. Heather is still in town and she will pop in for a few hours to crop with Sue and I. So, we should have a good time.

The garden is just about finished producing yumminess and I have frozen all I can freeze for winter stews. Leaving you with this Natural Goodness layout. Catch ya on the SCRAP SIDE.
