Back to Reality!

Yes, this Summer has been a great Summer.  In a flash... here is what happened.

 

1.  Brian turned 50!

2.  Brianna went to Camp Loucon

3.  Brianna participated in her first Mission Trip to Indiana.

4.  We had the Annual Archer Family Reunion in Pennsylvania.

5.  Family Vacation in Panama City Beach.

6.  Went to Hershey Park and had a BLAST!

7.  Kimberly (me) turned 50 as well.

 

During the entire Summer we spent days and weekends at Beech Bend playing in the water.

 

Yesterday, August 11th, Brianna began Middle School.  Yep, she is the last in our nest.

This will be a great school year.

 

I already mourn Summer leaving.

Documenting Moments...

Scrapbooking is so rewarding and has a therapeutic way of calming ones soul.

I have so many scrapbooks that I may have rent a climate controlled store room.

 

No joke!

 

 

On a side note:  I really miss the Scrappy Weekends at Archiver's.  That was one of my most favorite stores to hang out once a month.  I met great friends and enjoyed sharing creative ideas.

It seems the Scrapbooking community has gotten smaller in the past few years.

Everyone is really into digital.  I still like feeling the paper in my hands.

Warm Weather, Mother's Day, it is beginning to look a lot like SUMMER!

Hard to believe time has gotten away from me.  I had a glorious Mother's Day and I anticipate next year to be even greater with a new grandbaby on the way.

I recently had the opportunity to scrap a bit.

I am sure you will recognize my "girls!"

Summer is almost here and we plan on heading to Georgia for camping on Memorial Day weekend.

Sunday Creative Fun

We had our first snow of 2012 and our first snow of the Winter this past Thursday night and Friday.  The cold temperatures had us snuggling near the fireplace and eating chili to warm our bellies.

Brianna and I have been hanging out in my art studio today.  Here are a few things I created.

Gettin' My Scrap On...

Well, I have been organizing my new art room preparing for the weekend when I am alone and the rest of the family heads down to Atlanta for a few days. I plan on creating a few canvas paintings that I have been planning. But this morning, I created this layout with Studio Calico's July Kit. I purchased several other add on kits as well and I simply love what April and Scarlett put together.
So, this is my first layout created with this fun fun kit. A great deal has happened to our family this summer and well...I used these photos that are fun and a glimpse of our Summer 2009.
