Who was it that said "online friends are not real friends?" They just do not know what they are talking about. At Studio Calico, one of the message board members and contributor to the gallery passed away unexpectedly last month. Alisa Henry was just 35 years old and left behind her loving husband, 2 small daughters, a sibling, and parents. As a special gift to Alisa's children, a challenge has been issued to create ATC's for Alisa's children. We randomly read through her 30+ pages of personality, quotes, inspiration, and just plain old good "girl talk," and together we are making ATC's to send her family and also that her daughters will be able to read some fun things that their mother shared with an online creative community. These are sayings that are part of Alisa and her legacy.
So, I joined the challenge...and these ATC's were inspired by Alisa Henry.
Sweet Dreams precious Alisa!

These gave me goosebumps, Kimberly. It actually made me tear up. My kids are the same age as hers and I feel so sad that when they are mama's they won't have her to go to for advice on all those little things. These are wonderful!
Kimberly, I am amazed at you! You already finished and they are stunning. Alisa's family will cherish them!
