NSD 2018- Waterfall Card

What a great project to create on National Scrapbooking Day.
Waterfall Cards are fun especially when you have someone to send them to via USPS across the miles.  I made two cards and they will be mailed to some special loves in Georgia.

From Kentucky to Georgia.

MEH on the Blogging...but

Blogging is just not my thing anymore.  However, I am continuing to scrapbook and create using mixed media items.  I really am doing a lot of card making and journaling. Watercolor is my new medium that I am obsessed with right now.  So, without further ado....here are some projects.

Thanks for looking.
I am excited to be going to an all day crop on DERBY DAY, National Scrapbooking Day on....CINCO De Mayo.
It is going to be a great time.

Here is to hopes that I will once again be posting.
Just do not hold your breath.

Busy Time of Year!

A few weeks ago I went to Camp Glisson in Dahlonega, Ga.  It was a great time seeing people I had not seen in years and taking the time to walk "literally" down memory lane and share a bit of our lives with one another.  Friends in Christ are Forever.

This is not everyone. Some of us were still walking around camp and taking in the new and wonderful happenings and growth that the camp has undergone throughout the previous decades since we were here.  We celebrated Rev. Bob Lanford.  He was instrumental in the success and preservation of Camp Glisson in the middle 70's to early 80's.

I am excited about the Holidays coming up.
Thanksgiving is a great time of the year for me.

The Struggle Is Real...

but, so are the BLESSINGS!

In trials, I am reminded there is peace when seeking God to handle my problem.

Therefore, I love this verse...

LUKE 24:36

Peace to You!
Have a great weekend.

Stewardship...

I Love a Sunday where I am excited to walk out the door from an incredible Sermon.
My church and the people within its walls inspire me to always seek God.

How about you?

Yep, I Color in My Bible!

It is actually a special Bible that I color in.  Totally hooked I am.
It allows me to be in the Word of God and inspired by a creative hand and medium.

Today, is no different.

Psalm 41: 4

I really enjoy using stamps and markers in my Bible to highlight my devotional time.

Positive!

I love the verse, Luke 6: 37.

We as "social humans" tend to be more judgmental with the all of the technology and minute to minute updates on one another's lives.  I remember when I had a pen pal that it would take a week to get the letters she wrote me.  So, the average in a month was about 4 to five letters.  This was because we were having a conversation back and forth.  We both wrote one another well into our 20's.

My heart sometimes hurts with what I see posted
in mainstream media and social venues in the world of technology and "keeping in touch."
With that said,  it is still hard not to read it.  I just choose not to share my opinion.
 In an open forum.
It is like a "train wreck/car wreck," you just cannot look away.

I must remind myself daily to continue to carry my daily cross and seek God.

Inspiration Monday? Yep, I know so...

Yesterday, while watching the Little League World Series and cheering on my team, BG EAST, also known to others as KENTUCKY or Bowling Green East, I was inspired to go ahead and create with inspiration from Shanna Noel.  She is the creator of Illustrated Faith.  She challenged women of faith that in fact, Bible Journal to print out her little butterfly tag and share.

So, with the above run on sentence; I give you my interpretation.

John 8: v, 36

The "FLY" tag is the creation of Shanna Noel.  "Below."

With this said, Go Bowling Green East!  So proud of these "Boys of Summer!"
Brings me back to the days when I would go to the games of my own children.
I will always remember the affair I had with Summer and Baseball.
Gosh, so much fun!

Paper Creations...

I created two layouts and then I really thought I should get started on cards for Brianna.  I am in the process of making her care package and cards for her to open daily at camp.

I have included them here.
Trust me that everything is straight.
I was simply impatient with taking the photos yesterday morning.
However, you will get the idea.  Remember you can click on the layout/card to view closer.
**included with the cards are the designs of the envelopes*

Currently trying to make up my mind whether to head to the pool or stay in for the day.
The sun seems to be HIT and MISS this morning.
Cooler temperatures.

I have enjoyed playing with paper for the past few days.
Time tells all stories.

Oh, well I got a wild hair yesterday and created two paper decoupage trees. They were fun to create and I thought I would share them with you.
I really am getting my CHRISTMAS SPIRIT! Crazy, huh?

Raining Cats and Dogs...

It's dark outside and the rain is pouring. Thunderstorms are to be all day. So, what a perfect day to do some scrapping. Well, I managed to complete some Artist Trading Cards for a swap I am participating in at Art Freckles and I just fell in love with the 'Bo Beep' stamp from Studio Calico. I simply adore her and she was fun to work with.
I am sure to stamp many images of Bo Beep in the future.

Without further ado, here they are! Stay dry and have a terrific hump day.

Sunday Best

This is a photo of my Mother before church in 1957. I scanned the original photo as it was very damaged. I simply love incorporating "trendy" papers and items with my heritage photos. It will let my children know what things I loved to create with and share our family stories throughout our scrapbooks.

Color My World

Here are my latest in Artist Trading Cards. I am in a swap over at Bad Girls and this is the design I have created. I used watercolor pencils, wooden stamps, Tim Holtz ink, glossy accents, some "bling," and my own handwriting. I hope the girls like them.

Let me know what you think...

Another addiction coming...

Yes, I feel it coming on. Over at Studio Calico I joined an Artist Trading Card Swap. I signed up for 3 cards that will all be sent internationally. Well, I have never made ATC's before and here are my first 3 creations ever! I think I am truly and dearly addicted to them. They are just so much fun.

These will be mailed to the recipients by October 31, 2008. I cannot wait until I receive mine as well.
